On June 9 local time the U.S. House passed the roughly $70 billion "Secure America Act", supplying funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol through the remainder of President Trump's term. The bill, which the Senate approved last week, will be sent to the president for signature. Democrats sought enforcement reforms — including officer body cameras and judicial authorization before home entries — but Republicans opposed those changes.
