ISNA reported Ghalibaf told Iraq’s president the US’ objective is to plunder Gulf states and that its presence in and near the Gulf is aimed at seizing resources. He said Iran and Iraq — and their peoples — now view the US as the primary challenge in regional affairs and that Americans have failed militarily and politically in attempting to impose a third war.
