On the 5th (local time) the public farewell and mourning for the late Supreme Leader Khamenei entered its second day in Tehran. Around 0800 local time thousands gathered at the Imam Khomeini Mosque for funeral prayers for Khamenei and four of his slain relatives. Government and military officials and some foreign delegations attended; IRGC commander Vahidi was present.
